Our rehabilitation unit at Chesterwood Village will help retrain the body and mind to work together to maximize recovery. Our state-of-the-art Keiser Physical Therapy Equipment is designed for older adults, so incremental weight changes can be tailored appropriately to individual abilities.

At Cottagewood One--our specially designed occupational indoor "home"--our staff reintroduces rehabilitation patients to the practical applications of returning to their own homes. Routine chores such as laundry, bathing, and cooking are practiced with gentle care and supervision to accelerate the return home.

A special feature of our Short-Term Rehabilitation is full access to Main Street and its many attractions. During your recovery you and your guests can enjoy a frosted mug of root beer at O'Smyley's Pub or a movie next door at our Monarch Theater.
